A Solar Water Well is implemented by using energy from the sun, to power a motor which brings clean water from beneath the earth’s surface and provides safe clean drinking water.

Solar Water Wells are designed to serve whole communities and villages, in some cases (due to geographic proximity) they can serve multiple villages meaning hundreds of beneficiaries can benefit!

The Solar Water Wells also capitalise on the sunlight in Pakistan, meaning they are an environmentally friendly way of providing clean water.

Drinking dirty water causes diseases such as Cholera, Typhoid, and Diarrhoea.
