NFMF have delivered a weekly Langhar Food Service in Kallar Seydan, Pakistan since 2021.
The word ‘Langhar’ is originally a Persian word and means giving food to the needy regardless of race, religion, or social background.
Pakistan is a country which ranks 99th out of 129 on the Global Hunger Index. It has been crippled by soaring inflation, and the aftereffects of COVID coupled with an economic crisis.
This has led to millions in the country unable to afford and have access to regular meals.
