Bread plays a vital role in feeding Gaza’s hungry population. It’s the most filling and the cheapest option, so bakeries are a lifeline. With bombardment continuing across the Gaza Strip, the lines outside the remaining bakeries are only likely to increase.
During the month of Ramadan, people's need in Gaza for bread increases for Sahoor and Iftar meals, but unfortunately, it has become more difficult for them to obtain a loaf of bread due to the lack of cooking gas, the lack of firewood, and the high cost of food materials and firewood as well. There is hope—and you can be part of it.
Our bakery is more than just a place that makes bread. It’s a lifeline for families in desperate need. Every loaf we produce means a child doesn’t go to bed hungry, a mother can feed her family, and a community can hold onto hope during unimaginable hardship.
We urgently need your help to keep our ovens running and our shelves stocked.
With our trusted partners, and use of Bakery facilities we aim to deliver 3000 pieces of bread per day in Gaza.
